01: |
Upon arrival at Johannesburg Int. Airport, you will be met by a
local English-speaking tour guide and transferred to your
hotel for check-in. Lunch will be served at your
hotel. After lunch, depart the hotel for an afternoon tour
to Soweto township, where you will experience a taste of
vibrant township life. Explore the historical, social and artistic
aspects of Soweto life.
This is your opportunity to gain a new perspective and personal
insight into one of the largest black cities in Africa. Visit one of
the biggest hospitals, former house of Nelson and Winnie
Mandela, the Hector Pieterson Memorial, Kliptown freedom
square, Apartheid Museum, shebeens, etc. Late
afternoon return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the

Day 02:
|
After breakfast, you guide will collect you for your airport
transfer to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight to
Mala Mala Game Reserve situated in the eastern
part of South Africa in the province of Mpumalanga. It shares a
common border with the Kruger National Park. Mala Mala is South
Africas legendary and exclusive safari
destination. Internationally acknowledged as the
top game-viewing destination in the world, it is set in
beautiful surroundings on the banks of the Sand River. Overnight

Day 03-04: |
The following 2 days are for you to enjoy the luxury that
Mala Mala has to offer. This exclusive safari lodge prides
itself on being one of the few safari destinations which is able to
offer a fully equipped disabled suite designed in
accordance with the Disabled Peoples Information Service of South
Africa and is in line with international standards.
The luxury and comfort of the camp, combined with the
exhilarating game drives and guided walks in
beautiful unspoilt wilderness dramatized by the close encounters
with Africas game, big and small, is incomparable. Only guests
accommodated at one of Mala Malas camps are permitted to traverse

Day
05: |
Today you will depart Mala Mala and return to Johannesburg, in
time to connect with your flight to Cape Town. Upon
arrival at Cape Towns International Airport, you will be met by an
English-speaking, registered tour guide and welcomed into South
Africas popular "Mother City". Your guide will transfer you to your
luxury hotel, situated within the Victoria
and Alfred Waterfront complex. After check-in, there will
be some time to relax and freshen up after your flights. Dinner
which will be served at your hotel, at the Atlantic Restaurant, and
you will overnight at the Table Bay Hotel DB&B basis.

06: |
Today is for you to enjoy a full day at your leisure, taking in
the various sights and sounds of South Africas popular "Mother
City". Your guide & vehicle will be at your disposal for
the entire day (24hr prior notice is required for services
on this day). Lunch and dinner will be arranged. Overnight at the
Table Bay Hotel B/L/D.

Day 07: |
After breakfast we will depart the hotel for a morning excursion
to Cape Towns most popular garden Kirstenbosch Botanical
Gardens to acquaint ourselves with some of the Capes
indigenous flora. The beautiful Kirstenbosch gardens cover an area
of 528 hectares with 36 hectares of cultivated garden.
The gardens are a celebration of South African
flora - showcasing only indigenous South African plants.
Fynbos, proteas, cycads and rolling lawns are intermingled with
streams and ponds and well-laid out pathways for easy walking.
Leisurely lunch will be served at Kirstenbosch Restaurant.
After lunch we will make our way to Cape Towns most
famous landmark - Table Mountain. A visit to Cape Town
would not be complete without a cable car ride to the top of this
massif (weather permitting). The top of Table Mountain offers
spectacular views in all directions and gives a birds eye view of
the city. The upper cable car station is situated at 1067 metres and
the revolving cable car makes sure that your trip up and down gives
you a good look in all directions.
After our visit to Table Mountain, we will transfer to the
Mount Nelson Hotel for High Tea, followed by a
return transfer to your hotel. During the evening we will drive
through the newly renovated Malay Quarter, where we
will stop for dinner at one of the many trendy restaurants in the

Day 08: |
Enjoy another leisure day in Cape Town. Again,
your guide, vehicle and scooter will be at your disposal for the
entire day (24hrs notice is required for services on this day). All
your meals will be included. Overnight at the Table Bay Hotel
B/L/D. |
Day 09: |
Today will be a full days excursion where we will take a scenic
drive along the Cape Peninsula. Included in todays excursion will
be a short boat cruise to Seal Island to view our large Cape
Fur Seal Colony. At the tip of the Cape Peninsula you will
find Cape Point situated within the Cape Peninsula National
Park where we will transfer to the lighthouse lookout by
funicular or on foot for spectacular views over the Indian and
Atlantic Oceans. Lunch will be served en route at a local Seafood
restaurant.
After lunch we visit Boulders Beach to view our resident
African Penguin Colony. In the evening we visit
Signal Hill for a sunset view over Cape Town, followed by a transfer
to the V&A Waterfront for dinner. Overnight at the Table Bay
Hotel B/L/D.

Day 10: |
Another free day for you to enjoy, with your
vehicle and guide at disposal for the day. Overnight at the Table
Bay Hotel B/L/D. |
Day 11: |
This morning is for you to enjoy some leisure time or shopping at
the Waterfront. Today we will enjoy an ethnic lunch experience at
Lelapa Restaurant situated in the midst of Langa, one of
Cape Towns local townships, while traditional
Marimba dancers entertain us.
During the late afternoon we will depart from the Victoria &
Alfred Waterfront for a sundowner cruise on board a
boat called 'Alice'. Travelling via Mouille Point and Seapoint, we
will arrive in Clifton where we will enjoy a barbeque on board
whilst taking in one of Cape Towns stunning sunsets. Kayaking is
also available from the boat. We shall return to the Waterfront
after sunset. Overnight at the Table Bay Hotel B/L/D.

Day 12: |
Today we will transfer to the Capes breathtaking
winelands, visiting the valleys of Franschhoek and
Stellenbosch to sample some of the best wines our country
has to offer. Lunch will be served at one of the numerous local wine
estates. During the afternoon we will pay a visit to the
Stellenbosch museum, followed by a late afternoon
arrival at your hotel - the 300 year old luxury
Lanzerac Manor & Winery is located on a private
working wine estate in the world-famous Jonkers-hoek Valley,
surrounded by the dramatic Helderberg mountains. Dinner and
overnight at Lanzerac Manor B/L/D.

Day 13: |
After breakfast, late morning departure for
the coastal holiday village of Hermanus, situated
approx. 1.5hrs drive from Cape Town. Lunch will be served at a local
restaurant in town, followed by leisure time for shopping, etc.
Hermanus is famous for its wonderful whale-watching
opportunities, especially of the Southern Right whales
(main whale-watching season runs from July
November ). Enjoy some
leisure time sight-seeing and shopping in one of
our most popular seaside holiday villages. Overnight at

Day 14: |
Today, we depart Hermanus for the start of our journey along the
scenically beautiful Garden Route. Travelling via
Mossel Bay, our next destination is George, and the well-known
Fancourt Golf & Country Estate - one of South
Africas finest golfing estates, on a par with international golfing
estates the world over. At the estates wonderful health and
beauty spa, one can relax and be pampered in truly
beautiful and superbly appointed surroundings, enjoying an
unrivalled range of therapies, treatments and leisure
activities.
All meals are included at any one of the five fabulous
restaurants on the estate, each offering a variety of excellent
dining experiences in truly delightful settings. Overnight at

Day 15: |
After a leisurely breakfast, we will depart the hotel for
Oudtshoorn, situated in the heart of the Karoo region. We will spend
the full day in Oudtshoorn, visiting one of the local
ostrich farms in the area and we will also enjoy a
tour to the Cango Cheetah & Wildlife Ranch.
Lunch will be served en route at a local restaurant. Late afternoon
return transfer to your hotel in George. Overnight at Fancourt Golf
& Country Estate DB&B basi.

Day 16: |
Today we travel further along the Garden Route to visit the
Tsitsikamma National Park. Spectacular scenery
includes the Indian Ocean breakers, pounding rocky shores beneath
180 m high cliffs, ever-green forests and fynbos (proteas and heath)
rolling down to the sea in a lush carpet where ancient rivers have
carved their path to the ocean through rocky ravines. Afterwards we
visit the coastal village of Knysna once voted as
South Africas favourite town.
Lunch will be served at the Knysna Waterfront, followed by
leisure time/ shopping. Knysna Lagoon is popular
for sailing, canoeing, water-ski-ing, windsurfing and fishing. Great
restaurants and shopping can be found at Knysnas Waterfront. Knysna
is also noted for its superb oysters, which can
definitely be recommended! In the afternoon enjoy a
sundowner cruise on the Knysna Lagoon on board the John
Benn. Overnight at Fancourt Golf & Country Estate B/L/D.

Transfer to George Airport in time to connect with your
flight to Johannesburg.
